When we come to Jesus, we’re not just forgiven—we’re filled, changed, and made new.

In Colossians 2:9–12, Paul reminds us that becoming a Christian is not something we achieve—it’s something God does in us. In Christ, we are filled with the fullness of God, given new hearts, and raised to new life.

Through the pictures of indwelling, circumcision, and baptism, Paul shows us what it truly means to belong to Jesus. The Spirit dwells within us, our old selves are put off, and we are raised with Christ through faith in God’s powerful work. This passage calls us to rest in the truth that Jesus is enough—He fills us, changes us, and gives us new life.
