Colossians 2:13-15
The miracle of salvation isn’t that God made bad people better, but that He made dead people alive.
In Colossians 2:13–15, Paul reminds us that apart from Christ, we were dead in our sins—but God has made us alive together with Him. Through the cross, Jesus has forgiven our sin, canceled our debt, and triumphed over every power that once stood against us.
This passage calls us to remember the heart of the gospel: we don’t make ourselves alive, God does. And in Christ, we find forgiveness, freedom, and victory. Because of what Jesus has done, we can live with hope, gratitude, and confidence that He has already won.
