Let Nothing Replace Christ

True spiritual growth doesn’t come from what we do for God but from holding fast to Christ.

In Colossians 2:16–23, Paul warns believers not to let anything replace Christ as the center of their faith. Whether it’s religious rituals, spiritual experiences, or self-made rules, anything that takes our focus off resting in the person and work of Jesus leads us away from the fullness found in Him.

This passage reminds us that true spiritual growth doesn’t come from practices or emotions, but from holding fast to Christ, our Head. He is the substance behind every shadow, the One who nourishes and unites His people, and the source of all real transformation.
